​What we do and why it matters.


I'm born and bred in Stoke on Trent and have grown and worked with some great people, so raising a family and building a business in Stoke is a great ambition.


Following some research I could see that there is a gap in the market for a reliable and conscientious cleaning Company.


You would imagine that anyone can clean windows but finding someone reliable with an attention to detail proved harder. So that's my challenge, the best possible job for a reasonable price, regularly and reliably.

I haven't been going long so we don't have loads of reviews but the few we've had make it all worthwhile. You can be assured that my team and I will be chasing great reviews so expect a five star service for your very first clean and regularly after that. We'll add them here as soon as they start to roll in.

Why have we called ourselves Ask James?​

During the 17th and 18th centuries wealthy families in England often addressed their coachmen with the generic name "James". Commonly they would shout, "Home James" as they alighted their carriage. In the 19th Century the expression gained traction as a common, if sometimes humorous, directive to a driver to take someone home quickly and without delay. I've often heard my Uncle use it to this day... "Home James and don't spare the horses."
        James became synonymous with someone who would do something for you quickly, conscientiously and above all reliably. That's the ethos behind our brand.         Good old fashioned service backed up with 21st Century technology.

Here's why you should Ask James.

By offering the best possible job for a reasonable price, regularly and reliably, my aim is to create a long term relationship with customers, so that when you need a service you will confidently "Ask James"

For the moment we offer window cleaning and gutter clearance but as the business develops I aspire to add services that our customers and their friends find useful.
